All personnel will therefore require some level of oil spill training to enable them to perform safely and effectively in the case of an emergency.

We believe training programme should have its roots and genesis in the oil spill contingency planning process and its related oil spill risk assessment. Training programmes are matched to the needs determined within contingency plans and are fit to purpose in both their content and delivery methods.
